A teenager tried to steal a cart full of alcohol from a Turlock store wearing a stolen Halloween mask Monday afternoon.
The teenager, a 15-year-old boy, reportedly entered the Fallas Discount Store at 2405 Geer Rd. around 3 p.m. and stole a Halloween mask.
The teenager donned the mask when he went into the Walmart Neighborhood Market across the street and started filling a shopping cart with alcohol.
The teen pushed the cart of stolen booze out the store, but was stopped by loss prevention agents.
The 15-year-old was found to be intoxicated. He was cited for two counts of commercial burglary and released to a caretaker, according to the police department.
