The Turlock Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that injured one person.
Around 8:46 p.m. Thursday the police department received a report of a shooting in the 1800 block of Francis Scott Way.
Officers responded to the scene and found the victim, who had sustained one gun shot wound that was non-life threatening, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Parmley.
Officers were able to speak with the victim and witnesses to the shooting and learned that the victim was shot in a drive-by shooting.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
