A call of a man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle alongside a roadway led to the arrest of a man suspected of selling marijuana.

Shortly after 6 p.m.  Sunday the Turlock Police Department received a call stating a man appeared to be passed out in his vehicle in the area of Countryside Drive and Fulkerth Road.

Before officers could respond to the area, the suspect, later identified as Juan Castillo-Calderon, 21, woke up and drove the vehicle to Home Depot. A witness followed the vehicle and relayed the location to police dispatch.

The officers located Castillo-Calderon and determined he was driving under the influence of either drugs or alcohol and placed him under arrest.

A subsequent search of his vehicle turned up items indicative of marijuana sales and more than $5,000 in cash, according to the police report.
