An 18-year-old male victim was shot once outside a Turlock apartment complex Thursday afternoon.

The victim sustained one gunshot wound to his left arm, according to the Turlock Police Department.

The shooting was reported around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of N. Olive Avenue.

Multiple shots were fired at the victim while he was standing outside.

The first officers to arrive at the scene found the wounded male in a nearby residence. He was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene.

The shooting is under investigation at this time and there is no suspect information.
