Two men were pistol whipped and one had his vehicle and wallet stolen in a violent robbery Wednesday night in Turlock.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday, a dark vehicle pulled into a body shop in the 900 block of W. Glenwood Avenue. An unknown man got out of the passenger side of the vehicle and approached the body shop owner. According to the police report, the suspect began repeatedly striking the body shop owner with a pistol, before turning on a second man and hitting him multiple times with the gun.

The suspect then demanded the second victim’s wallet, which he handed over. The suspect then got into a truck that belonged to the second victim that had the keys inside of it. He drove away from the scene, with another unknown man driving off in the dark vehicle.

The victims told police officers they did not know the two men or why they attacked them, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The suspects were described as Hispanic men between the ages of 35 to 40 years old. They were both wearing blue uniforms. The vehicle was described as a late 90s black Honda Accord.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to contact the Turlock Police Department’s tip line at 668-5550 ext. 6780.
