The Turlock Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at Rotary International Park on Thursday afternoon.
The three victims were sitting at table in Rotary International Park, at 1025 Gettysburg, around 5 p.m. Thursday when a black male adult approached then and asked for a cigarette.
“The suspect then sat down next to one of the victims and showed him a gun in his pocket and told him to empty his pockets,” said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.
A second black male adult approached behind the other two victims and took a purse and cellphone from them.
The suspects fled the park and were not located.
The suspects were described as being in their teens to 20s and wearing hoodies — one gray, one black.
