The thefts have been happening in various neighborhoods around Turlock. The Facebook page for Turlock Neighborhood Watch has posts about mail and package thefts in the areas of S. Quincy Road, E. Monte Vista Avenue, Amethyst Way, Noble Lane, Colorado Avenue and Merritt Street.
Anyone seeing a theft in progress should call 911 and provide the dispatcher with a detailed description of the suspect, including a description of the clothing, height, weight, approximate age and any vehicles or other method of transportation that they may be using.
