A woman getting out of her car at a Turlock shopping center was robbed at knifepoint by three suspects, the Turlock Police Department reported.

The robbery was reported around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the shopping center in the 2700 block of Geer Road.

The woman told police that as she was getting out of her vehicle, she was approached by three individuals — two men and one woman — and that one of the men was armed with a knife.

The suspects grabbed the woman’s purse and fled the shopping center on foot. The woman was not injured in the incident.

Police officers located the woman’s purse across the street. The cash had been stolen, said Turlock Police spokesman Sgt. Russ Holeman.

The only description available on the suspects was that all three were white.
