A 30-year-old Turlock woman is facing criminal charges after she punched her sister and niece during a family squabble Saturday afternoon.
Tiana Stallworth was charged with misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor child endangerment for her role in the altercation, according to the Turlock Police Department.
The incident began shortly before 3 p.m. when Stallworth came to her sister’s home in the 2100 block of N. Berkeley to retrieve some items stored there. After getting her items she demanded a ride to a different location and when her sister refused, Stallworth spit in her face and pushed her to the ground, Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis said.
Stallworth allegedly punched and kicked her sister several times. The victim’s 11-year-old daughter tried to stop Stallworth and was punched in the stomach by her aunt, Lewis said.
Stallworth was kept at the residence until police arrived and took her into custody.
The sister and the 11-year-old did not have any visible injuries, Lewis said.
