Ken Hawks from Ancient Artifacts gave a presentation to Kristen Norman’s class at Dutcher Middle School on Tuesday about the American Revolution. He demonstrated to the class how the British soldiers would use the homes of those living in the American colonies because of the Quartering Act. He also showed the students authentic artifacts from the American Revolution from the buttons on the soldiers’ uniforms to muskets strapped with bayonets.
