Janine Ruth, was born January 19, 1959 to Betty and Lewis Hiatt. She went to Hughson High  School where she excelled at ballroom dance and won many awards in FFA. She graduated in 1976.  After high school, she went to BYU where she performed on the ballroom dance team. On September  29, 1979, she married Rex Martin Oppelt in the Oakland California Temple. In the early years of  marriage, they taught private lessons of ballroom dance, directed a multitude of dance festivals for  youth and were adjunct professors at Modesto Junior College teaching ballroom dance. In 1994, Janine  started her own business, Razzleberries. Over the last 27 years, Razzleberries has grown into one of the  most respectable crafting businesses in California. Janine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of  latter-day Saints her whole life. She served in a variety of callings for the church. She is survived by her  husband Rex, her three sons: Mathew, Keith and Chad and her four beloved grandchildren: Liam, Dallin,  Isla and Ellie.
