Johnnie was born in Oklahoma before settling in Ballico, California with her parents in the 1930’s.  She was first and foremost a devoted mother and also worked at various stores in Turlock for a time and then became a realtor and worked with her husband for Del Reed Realty, Inc. for 15years. 

Johnnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Turlock for 30 years. She was very involved with volunteer work through many organizations including Mobil Missionary Assistance Program, American Missionary Fellowship, Modesto Gospel Mission, Missionary Gospel Fellowship, Cal Farley Boys Ranch and she sponsored two children through Compassion International. She also was Chairman of Easter Seals.

She is survived by her children Virginia Dallo, Owen Lee and Debra Gray; sister, Ruby Ranuio; five grandchildren, Alica, Laurie, Kellie, Quinton, and Richard; twelve great grandchildren; and 

three great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to American Missionary Camp Fund Fellowship, Cal Farley Boys Ranch, or The Heartford House/Hospice of Western Kentucky.

A memorial service will be held at Allen Mortuary on Thursday, May 3rd at 1:00p.m. Private interment will be held at Turlock Memorial Park.
