Police investigate corn maze robbery

The Turlock Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened early Sunday evening inside the corn maze at R.A.M. Farms.

The victims of the robbery and the suspect were all juvenile boys, according to the police department.

The robbery happened around 5:45 p.m. Sunday near E. Canal Drive and N. Daubenburger Road.

As officers arrived, they contacted the three boys, who said they had been robbed while going through the corn maze.

The victims said that an unknown Hispanic male juvenile suspect had approached them while in the corn maze, demanded money, and robbed them of their personal property.

No weapon was seen or used in the robbery said Turlock Police spokeswoman Deandra Wiley.

Officers are still investigating this incident and encourage anyone who had witnessed the incident or who has information on the identity of the suspect to contact Officer Philip Kauffman at (209) 656-3155.
