Turlock convenience store robbed

An armed suspect robbed a Quik Stop in Turlock, pointing his firearm at both a customer and the store’s clerk, the Turlock Police Department reported.

No one was injured in the robbery that was reported at 3:29 a.m. Monday at the Quik Stop store at 2406 W. Monte Vista Avenue.

The suspect entered the store and pointed a handgun at a customer and the clerk and demanded the cash from the register, Turlock Police spokesperson Officer Mayra Lewis said.

The robber fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running southbound.

The robber was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, and a camouflage half-face mask. He was described as being in his 20s and being tall and thin.
