Stanislaus State continues to earn regional and national accolades for its academic programs with EDsmart being the most recent organization to include the university in two of its rankings.

A nationally recognized publisher of college resources, EDsmart ranked Stan State as the No. 1 Best Accelerated Nursing and BSN programs in the nation and No. 4 of the Best West Coast Colleges in 2022.

EDsmart’s 2022 ranking of the best accelerated nursing and BSN Programs is the most comprehensive and well-rounded to date. The rankings, which include only fully accredited schools, are based on affordability, academic quality, student satisfaction and post-graduation earnings according to data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Accelerated nursing and BSN programs are designed for registered nurses already working in the healthcare field but want to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. It provides an alternative route to earning a BSN for registered nurses with an associate degree in nursing.

ED also included Stan State at No. 4 among its 2022 list of Best West Coast Colleges.

“These schools have numerous rankings, prestigious faculty, and are committed to innovative research,” according to a media release announcing the rankings, which also considered affordability as a factor. “These schools are great for college students, working professionals, or those who need specialized training to advance their careers.”

Over the years, Stanislaus State has consistently earned placement on prestigious rankings including U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and The Princeton Review.
